V27-796 : APPLICATION TO VARY PUBLIC ENTERTAINMENT LICENCE

KINGS HEAD, BECCLES

The report of the Chief Executive outlined an application to vary the hours of the current Public Entertainment Licence for the above on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 12 midnight to 1.00am, to which the Police objected.

While noting these objections, the Panel felt there would be no harm in granting the variation for a trial period, during which time monitoring would be carried out.

RESOLVED

That the Public Entertainment Licence conditions for the Kings Head, Beccles be varied to allow the hours to be extended to 1.00am on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, on a temporary basis until the expiry of the Licence in February 2000.
