V27-784 : CAPITAL PROGRAMME PROJECTS - SCHEME UPDATE

The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services updated progress and budget information on a variety of projects in the Housing Capital Programme, including: Manor Court refurbishment; Whitton Court refurbishment; Duplex flats; Flat re- conversions; Peddars Court, Lowestoft; Vehicle Crossings 1999/2000; and Play Areas 1999/2000.

With the completion of the Manor Court project, the Chairman of Housing and Environmental Services asked that an informal visit be arranged for members.

Slippages due to timescales were identified in some of the other projects listed and members and officers would take steps to address this.

RESOLVED

That the update report on Capital Programme Projects, be received, and the Director of Housing and Environmental Control, in consultation with the Chairman and Vice- Chairman, identify areas where slippages in the budget can be utilised.
