V27-778 : MARITIME HERITAGE CENTRE PROJECT
The report of the Director of Community Services was considered as a matter of urgency, under the statutory provision accorded to the Chairman, due to tight deadlines requiring completion of Phase One of the above Project by April 2000.
The report set out funding already received towards the Project, and advised that an offer of funding from GO-East had recently been received and had been accepted in consultation with the Chairman.
RESOLVED
That the action of the Director of Community Services, in consultation with the Chairman, in accepting the GO-East offer of funding towards the Maritime Heritage Centre Project, be confirmed.
(Councillor Gouldby declared an interest in the above item and left the room during the debate).
The meeting was concluded at 8.10pm.
