V27-777 : LEISURE REVENUE GRANT - ROYAL NORFOLK AND SUFFOLK YACHT CLUB

The report of the Director of Community Services set out an application from The Royal Norfolk and Suffolk Yacht Club for a grant of £250 which represented 50% of the entry fee for gaining European Blue Flag Status for the Lowestoft Yacht Marina. The Yacht Marina was the first UK Marina to receive a Blue Flag in 1998, and the award was repeated in 1999.

RESOLVED

That a Leisure Revenue Grant offer of £250 be made to the Royal Norfolk and Suffolk Yacht Club as a contribution to the entry for the Blue Flag Marina.
