V27-770 : CCTV MONITORING CENTRE - ADOPTION OF THE CODE OF PRACTICE

The report of the Director of Community Services set out the CCTV Code of Practice which had been amended in accordance with guidelines given by the Local Government Information Unit in their document "A Watching Brief - A Code of Practice for CCTV". RESOLVED

1. That the CCTV Code of Practice dated September 1999 be adopted as Council Policy.

2. That the Director of Community Services be authorised to the sign the document in partnership with the Superintendent of Suffolk Constabulary.

3. That Posts CC201, CC202, CC203 and CC206 from the Property Services Section be given delegated authority to carry out the roles assigned to them within the document.
