V27-765 : SUFFOLK LOCAL TRANSPORT PLAN, INVOLVING THE COMMUNITY,

LOWESTOFT ACTION PLAN

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control and the Director of Community Services was considered as a matter of urgency, under the statutory provision accorded to the Chairman, as it had been unavailable at the time of the publication of the Agenda.

Further to minute V27-35.2 CAG Consultants had been appointed to undertake engagement of the community to support the development of the Local Transport Plan. One proposal was the formation of a Transport Panel of organisations with an interest in transport issues in the town.

RESOLVED

That Councillors Devereux and Young be appointed to the Transport Panel being set up to co-ordinate community involvement in the Lowestoft area for the Suffolk Local Transport Plan, and that attendance be authorised as an approved duty.
