V27-698 : THE FUTURE OF THE OBJECTIVE 5B/RDA OFFICE
The report of the Chief Executive provided a draft paper from Suffolk County Council on the future of the objective 5b/RDA office, following the resignation of both the Economic Projects Officer and Social and Community Projects Officer for Rural Suffolk.
It was proposed to harmonise the job descriptions for the two posts which would allow for a more flexible approach to their management, allowing for office space at County Hall as well as in the rural area.
The funding commitment requested from the Council was £6,000 in the first year, rising by £1,000 per year to £8,000 in the third year. The Council's current commitment to the two posts was £12,300 per year for three years.
RECOMMENDED
That Suffolk County Council's proposals for the future of the Objective 5b/RDA office be accepted.
