V27-683 : POST CL403 CARAVAN SITES MANAGER

The report of the Director of Community Services requested authority to advertise and fill the post of Caravan Sites Manager which, following Chairman's approval for internal advertisement, had remained vacant. The Director explained the essential winter duties of the post and the consequent need for prompt action.

RECOMMENDED

1. That the action of the Director of Community Services, in consultation with the Chairman, in agreeing that the post of Caravan Sites Managers be advertised internally, be confirmed.

2. That Post CL403, Caravan Sites Manager, be advertised and filled.

3. That the appointment be made on a fixed term contract initially until 31 October 2000, with the opportunity to extend by one year periods until the future of North Denes Caravan and Camping Site has been determined.
