V27-63 : CCTV GOVERNMENT FUNDING INITIATIVES

The report of the Director of Community Services outlined new Home Office initiatives to fund CCTV for estate regeneration, and sought funding and approval to appoint a specialist consultant in order to submit a bid.

RESOLVED

1. That the Community Services Department co-ordinate a bid for expansion of CCTV, once guidance notes are received from the Home Office.

2. That budget provision of £12,000 be allocated to enable the appointment of Optimum Risk Management to prepare the bid.
