Application for front and side extensions.

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control outlined an application objected to by a neighbour on the grounds of obscuring of light and view from the side window of his dining room. The Director considered the scale and appearance of the extensions acceptable, the neighbour's window which would be affected was only a secondary window to his dining room which looked out onto a dense hedge one metre away. The extension would therefore have only a minor effect, and the Director recommended approval subject to agreement of materials.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be granted to application W14704/1, subject to a condition agreeing materials.
