Application to allow use of building to include stabling of horses - variation of Condition No. 3 of W4482/5.

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control reminded members of the recent history at the application site. Most recently permission was granted in September 1998 for the construction of a general purpose agricultural building, a condition of which stated that the premises should be used for agricultural purposes only. The County Solicitor confirmed that the stabling of horses did not fall within the definition of agricultural purposes.

The concerns of Ringsfield Parish Council on the materials being used in the construction of the new building were relayed and the Director agreed that deferral for further investigation was the most appropriate course of action.

RESOLVED

That application W14482/7 be deferred for further investigation.
