V27-596 : W13456/6 - LAND OFF HIGH STREET, KESSINGLAND

Application for approval of reserved matters, construction of 38 dwellings and garages.

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control outlined objections to the above application concerning the siting of two of the properties in relation to the listed building "The Ark" in the High Street. The Director was of the opinion that the street scene would be appropriate. The other objection related to siting of Plot 38 in front of the "The Ark". Negotiations with the applicant had led to a revised position of the Plot and the objection was largely satisfied.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be granted to application W13456/6 as amended, subject to the completion of a Section 106 Agreement, covering off-site play equipment and on-site affordable housing.
