Application for livery stables and schooling ring.

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control outlined the above proposal, to which no objections had been received. The field would contain paddock enclosures and a dressage ring, and a three sided timber stable block would be constructed.

The site was well suited, adjacent to the village hall and existing car park. Access was good, although needing to be surfaced, and the site was completely enclosed by mature hedges making it inconspicuous from the adjacent cottages or road. The Director recommended approval subject to improved access and no floodlighting.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be granted to application W17307, subject to access improvements and no floodlighting.

(Councillor Aldous declared an interest in the above item and left the room during the debate).
