Application for conversion of building into three dwellings and listed building consent for internal and external alterations to form three dwellings.

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control detailed an application to subdivide the property into three units, access to the first being via the existing driveway, and to the other two by a new driveway through trees on the north side. It was felt that the building would adapt well to subdivision along these lines. No mature trees would be lost and the potential increase in occupants and vehicles would not be out of proportion with the size of the building. The Director recommended approval subject to conditions.

RESOLVED

That planning permission and listed building consent be granted to applications W16913/2 and W16913/3 respectively, subject to alterations to the western entrance to comply with the requirements of the Highways Department, details of landscaping and boundary treatments and satisfactory means of sewage disposal being agreed in consultation with the Local Planning Authority before commencement of work.
