V27-573 : ROTTERDAM ROAD DEPOT ROOF

The report of the Director of Waveney Contract Services explained the necessity to overclad the roof at Rotterdam Road Depot due to continued problems with rain penetrating. Quotations were being sought which were expected to be in the region of £20,000 to £30,000. Options for financing the work included the Council's capital programme, Contract Services Reserve Account and the DSO Revenue Accounts.

RESOLVED

1. That work to overclad the office roof at Rotterdam Road Depot be approved at an approximate cost of £20,000 to £30,000.

2. That the Director of Waveney Contract Services, in consultation with the Chairman and Director of Central Services, be given authority to determine the source of financing of the work at the end of the financial year.
