V27-552 : BEST GARDEN COMPETITION
Before the commencement of formal proceedings, the Chairman presented certificates to the third place, second place and first places in the garden competition for Council properties. Winner of the best front garden was Mr. Burwood. Winner of the best back garden was Mrs. Gooch. Overall winner, who received an inscribed fork and spade donated by Early Dawn Nurseries, was Mr. Cornell. The Chairman warmly thanked all those who had taken part and made their estates more colourful.
