V27-54 : SUFFOLK LOCAL TRANSPORT PLAN 1999/2000

WAVENEY DISTRICT COUNCIL SUBMISSION

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control was considered as a matter of urgency, under the statutory provision accorded to the Chairman, as an urgent response was needed for inclusion in the Local Transport Plan for Suffolk.

The report supplemented the Suffolk Local Transport Plan item considered above at minute V27-35 and gave specific responses in outlining the Council's actions to achieve sustainable transport objectives. It also dealt with transport issues outside of the Lowestoft area, and included relevant policies, responsibilities and other initiatives.

RESOLVED

That the report of the Director of Planning and Building Control be approved as this Council's submission to the Local Transport Plan for Suffolk 1999/2000.

The meeting was concluded at 8.45 pm.
