V27-524 : LEISURE REVENUE GRANT - MILESTONES JAZZ CLUB
The report of the Director of Community Services outlined an application from Milestones Jazz Club for a grant of £720 to help them finance more effective publicity to attract new performers and new audiences.
The application met the Council's criteria for grant aid, particularly as the art form involved had no other such regular outlet in the District, and the Director supported the application for the full sum requested.
RESOLVED
That a Leisure Revenue Grant of £720 be offered to Milestones Jazz Club for the development of their monthly concert programme.
The meeting was concluded at 8.05pm.
