V27-512 : ACCOUNTING RESULTS 1998/99
The report of the Director of Central Services provided a summary of the Committee's revenue expenditure for the year ended 31 March 1999 and a comparison with the approved budget. A saving of £16,000 against the approved budget had been made, but it was proposed to carry forward to 1999/2000 underspends of £49,000 on special works etc planned for 1998/99 but not completed in that year. Effectively, this turned the £16,000 saving into an overspend of £33,000.
RESOLVED
That the accounting results for the Committee's activities in 1998/99 be approved, and budgets of £49,000 be carried forward to 1999/2000
