V27-435 : RISK MANAGEMENT
The report of the Director of Community Services advised that with work on finalising the Millennium Events Programme at an advanced stage, a full risk assessment could be conducted, and operating plans designed. The comments of Zurich Municipal, as the Council's insurers, would be incorporated into the event planning process. On the advice of the Chief Executive it was accepted that staffing priority would have to be given to emergency planning.
RESOLVED
That the action of the Director of Community Services in preparing risk assessments for the Millennium Events, be confirmed.
