V27-43 : EXPERIMENTAL RESIDENTS' PARKING SCHEME, BECCLES

The report of the Director of Community Services considered the need for the Director to have delegated authority to modify the Experimental Residents' Parking Order for Beccles, in order to alleviate problems identified by the regular review meetings of the Residents' Parking Working Party.

RESOLVED

1. That the Director of Community Services, in consultation with the Chairman and Vice- Chairman of the Committee, be given delegated authority to make minor amendments to the Experimental Residents' Parking Order for Beccles, providing a review meeting of the Residents' Parking Working Party has resolved the changes necessary.

2. That if a review meeting wishes to expand the experimental scheme into additional streets, approval to advertise must be obtained from the Planning and Transportation Committee.
3. That any objections to the Experimental Residents' Parking Scheme in Beccles not withdrawn, be reported to the meeting of the Committee on 26 October 1999 for consideration.
