Application for reinstatement of original railings and kerbs.

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control advised that the above application by the Council sought to restore the original railings, stonework and gates to the front boundaries of the whole of the above listed terrace as part of the Kirkley Regeneration project. The works would unify and enhance the appearance of the terrace and provide a major improvement to the character of this part of the conservation area, and the Director recommended approval.

RESOLVED

That for the purposes of paragraph 4(5) of the Town and Country Planning General Regulations 1976, planning permission be granted to application W16042/1.
