V27-365 : HOUSING LETTINGS POLICY

The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services explained the necessity for a review of the Housing Lettings Policy as some aspects of local housing demand had changed over recent months. These changes tended to be more about emphasis and although they could be accommodated in the present policy there was an indication that a review of the policy would be appropriate.

RESOLVED

1. That Councillors Blowers, R. Carter and Walmsley be appointed to a Working Party to review the Housing Lettings Policy, and attendance be authorised is an approved duty.

2. That in order to ensure the Policy reflects any fluctuations in housing need it is regularly reviewed at periods not exceeding three years.
