V27-355 : HEALTH AND SAFETY ENFORCEMENT
The report of the Director of Housing and Environmental Services examined the enforcement of Health and Safety by the Council, and considered how the Environmental Services Division intended to meet the national requirements to follow certain strategic themes.
RESOLVED
1. That support be given to the Health and Safety Commission's strategic themes and continuing aims.
2. That the Director of Housing and Environmental Services ensures adequate arrangements to allow a more proactive regulation of Health and Safety issues.
