V27-246 : UNEMPLOYMENT STATISTICS
The report of the Chief Executive analysed recently available data on a Labour Force Survey of unemployment for Waveney, and commented on the significant difference in the number of people classified as unemployed compared with the traditional claimant count method. RECOMMENDED
That the findings of the report on the Labour Force Survey be utilised in the lobbying case for Objective 2 status for parts of Waveney under the European Regional Development Fund.
