V27-244 : ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY 1999/2000

The report of the Chief Executive set out the results of the consultation exercise on the Council's draft Economic Development Strategy and suggested suitable amendments.

RECOMMENDED

1. That the responses to the consultation exercise on the draft Economic Development Strategy 1999/2000 be noted, and the consultees informed of the Council's response.

2. That the suggested amendments to the draft Economic Development Strategy 1999/2000 be made, and the amended Strategy be adopted as the Council's policy document.
