V27-235 : TREASURY MANAGEMENT - ANNUAL REPORT 1998/1999

The report of the Director of Central Services provided an Annual Report on the Council's Treasury Management operations in accordance with its Policy Statement. The Annual Report for 1998/99 summarised the borrowing, investment and leasing transactions during the year and detailed the net borrowing costs in that year, in comparison with the approved budget.

In addition, the report provided the routine details of borrowing and investment transactions made under delegated authority during the period February 1999 to May 1999.

RECOMMENDED

1. That the Annual Report on the Council's Treasury Management activities for 1998/99 be approved.

2. That the Monitoring for the period February 1999 to May 1999 be received.
