V27-231 : HOUSING BENEFIT INVESTIGATIONS - RESULTS 1998/1999
The report of the Chief Internal Auditor set out the results of the Housing Benefit Investigations work during the period 1998/1999 and made comparisons with the previous year.
In particular a significant reduction in savings had been achieved, reflecting Government policy, and this had been anticipated and was predicted in previous reports. RECOMMENDED
That the monitoring report on the results of the Housing Benefit Investigations for 1998/1999 be approved.
