V27-203 : UNAUTHORISED SATELLITE DISHES - SOUTH LOWESTOFT CONSERVATION AREA

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control gave details of unauthorised satellite dishes at Wellington Esplanade, Cleveland Road and Windsor Road. Since writing the report the dishes at Wellington Esplanade and Cleveland Road had been removed, but the Director requested permission to take action to secure the removal of the unauthorised dishes in Windsor Road, and also that the Chief Executive be authorised to secure the removal of any dishes erected after 1 April 1999 on the front elevations of any properties on the seafront terraces.

RESOLVED

1. That the Chief Executive be authorised to take all necessary action to secure the removal of the unauthorised satellite dishes at 14 and 20 Windsor Road, Lowestoft.

2. That the Chief Executive be given delegated authority to take all necessary action to secure the removal of satellite dishes erected after 1 April 1999 without planning permission on the front elevations of any properties on Marine Parade, Victoria Terrace, Wellington Esplanade, Kitchener Terrace and Kirkley Cliff, Lowestoft
