V27-200 : SCRIGGINS YARD, HARBOUR ROAD, OULTON BROAD - BREACH OF CONDITION
The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control advised that planning permission was granted in May 1995 for the use of the above site to form a storage area for engineering goods, demolition of redundant buildings and new storage unit. A condition attached to this permission required that at all times the two vehicular access points should be kept free, and a four metre wide route between them inside the site should also be kept free of any obstruction and available for vehicle movements.
Currently both the access and exit points were blocked with engineering goods, and the four metre wide route was non-existent. Requests had been made to remedy this breach of condition, but little attempt had been made to comply and stronger sanction was needed. RESOLVED
That the Chief Executive be authorised to serve a Breach of Condition Notice and to take all pursuant action to secure compliance with Condition 7 of planning permission W5745/6.
