V27-199 : 88 PINEWOOD GARDENS, NORTH COVE - UNAUTHORISED SATELLITE DISH

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control outlined complaints received regarding an unauthorised satellite dish which had been positioned on the rear of a detached garage at the above. The dish was visible from a number of positions in the area, and was considered to be intrusive and required planning permission.

The Director had contacted the owner and requested an application, but none had been forthcoming. Members were asked whether they wished the Director to negotiate relocation of the dish, or secure its removal.

RESOLVED

1. That the Director of Planning and Building Control be given delegated authority to negotiate a suitable relocation of the unauthorised satellite dish at 88 Pinewood Gardens, North Cove.

2. That if no suitable relocation site can be negotiated, the Chief Executive be authorised to take all pursuant action to secure the removal of the unauthorised satellite dish at 88 Pinewood Gardens, North Cove.
