Application for siting of temporary mobile home - renewal of consent W2258/8.

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control advised that temporary permissions had been granted for the siting of the above mobile home, which was required as the pub accommodation was limited to one bedroom, for one year in 1996 and for a further two years in 1997, when it was indicated that no further renewals would be given. The applicant was now applying for another temporary approval, pending a change in family circumstances or alterations to the property which would hopefully improve trade and allow him to buy family accommodation locally.

The caravan was in a prominent location when viewed from the A12, and the Director recommended that further temporary permission be refused, and that all necessary action should be taken to secure the removal of the caravan, with any action being delayed for six months to allow the applicant to make alternative arrangements.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be refused to application W2258/11, and that the Chief Executive be authorised to take all necessary action to ensure removal of the caravan sited at 1 London Road, Wrentham, with any action being delayed for six months to allow the applicant to make alternative accommodation arrangements.
