Application to create new permanent residential unit.

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control concerned an application to add a further residential unit in the north east corner of the above site which adjoined George Westwood Way. The mobile home would be a double sized unit, and would be positioned within ten feet of the main road. The unit would also need to be raised above flood levels, and would be visually intrusive and undesirable along the main entrance to Beccles from the north. The Director recommended refusal.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be refused to application W11180/2.
