V27-168 : WOODLANDS FARM BARN, YARMOUTH ROAD, CORTON
UNAUTHORISED ADVERTISEMENTS
The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control advised that unauthorised advertisement boards had been erected on the A12 Yarmouth Road advertising "Barn Owl Lodge" and requests for removal had been made. The Council had removed signs in this location previously, and the Highway Authority had expressed concern about the existence of these signs on the grounds of highway danger.
RESOLVED
1. That the Chief Executive be authorised to take all pursuant action, including prosecution, to secure the removal of the unauthorised advertisements at Woodlands Farm Barn, Yarmouth Road, Corton.
2. That the Chief Executive be authorised to take all necessary action for any future breaches under the Town and Country Planning (Control of Advertisements) Regulations 1992 in respect of Woodlands Farm Barn, Yarmouth Road, Corton.
The meeting was concluded at 9.50 pm.
