Application to erect a bungalow.
The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control advised that there had been two previous outline permissions for a house on the above site. A bungalow was now proposed which would take up more of the site area and would have more adverse effects. The development would be out of keeping with the character of the area, would give inadequate amenity to the new residents and would result in the removal of the boundary trees and hedges. It would also lead to privacy problems between the proposed bungalow and No. 38. The Director recommended refusal.
RESOLVED
That planning permission be refused to application W12392/2.
