Application for erection of boundary fence.

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control related to a property occupying a prominent position within the street scene. The proposal was to erect a 1.67 metre fence close boarded fence to enclose the property's rear garden, reducing to 1.2 metres around the remainder of the property. As most neighbouring properties had low walls and hedges, the fence would have some impact, but only part of it was at a higher level. On balance the Director recommended approval.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be granted to application W7846/5.
