Application for change of use from store/office to pre-school nursery. The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control detailed that although this type of facility was to be encouraged, especially within such a central location, the premises in this instance were far from ideal. They had inadequate amenity space, poor access via a passageway and parking problems could only be added to by the dropping off and picking up children. The Director therefore recommended refusal, a similar view to Social Services. RESOLVED
That planning permission be refused to application W16480/1.
