Outline application to construct four bungalows.

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control was corrected by the addition of the final sentence to Policy E2, which stated "Applications for other development will not be allowed on land dedicated for industrial use". The Director also added that development of part of the public house's car park would lead to a sub-standard layout of 45 spaces, where calculations suggested 57 were needed.

All members declared receipt of lobbying material on the application, and were almost unanimous in their feelings that the development should not be permitted between a petrol station and public house.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be refused to application W15028/3.
