V27-1469 : PROPOSED CREATION OF A PUBLIC FOOTPATH AT ALL SAINTS CHURCH WORLINGH

The report of the Chief Executive considered an application from Worlingham Parish Council for the District Council to use its powers under the Highways Act 1980 to create a new Public Footpath through the churchyard of All Saints Church Worlingham.

The proposed path would link with the existing route of Public Footpath 3, Worlingham and provide improved pedestrian access from the Lowestoft Road to Worlingham Primary School. The proposed had the support of all relevant parties.

RESOLVED

1. That a public footpath creation agreement under section 25 of the Highways 1980, be entered into with the Diocese of St. Edmundsbury and Ipswich in respect of a Public Footpath running from Lowestoft Road, Worlingham, to a junction with Public Footpath 3, Worlingham, as shown on the map presented to Committee.

2. That the usual administrative charges be waived on this occasion.

The meeting was concluded at 8.05 pm.
