V27-1429 : OTHER SERVICES CAPITAL PROGRAMME

The report of the Director of Central Services and Director of Community Services provided a revised other services capital programme and assessment of capital resources for the years 1999/2000 to 2001/02, following a progress review of all projects included in the programme. The extension of CCTV to seafront car parks would appear in the current year's programme, as approved at the last meeting of the Community Services Committee, but was entirely funded by a Home Office grant.

The current year's programme could be funded without the need for the planned General Fund revenue contribution, and for the subsequent two years some £240,000 of resources remained to be allocated.

RESOLVED

1. That the revised capital programme be approved.

2. That any direct revenue funding from the General Fund in 1999/2000 be limited to that necessary to complete the funding of the programme in that year.
