V27-1421 : SPONSORSHIP OF THE PRINCE'S TRUST
The report of the Chief Executive set out an approach from the Prince's Trust for renewal of funding for its service in the Waveney area, which in past years had been provided at £1,500 per annum.
The Trust had put forward three options for future economic development funding. These options ranged from £2,500 for a service based in Ipswich, to £15,000 for a part-time Waveney presence, to £25,000 for a full-time post in Waveney.
RECOMMENDED
1. That the Prince's Trust be sponsored to the level of £2,500 for 2000/01, to be met from the Promotions and Initiatives budget.
2. That local partner organisations be encouraged to provide information regarding the Trust's activity.
