V27-1415 : KEY LOCAL ECONOMIC INDICATORS

The report of the Chief Executive identified key economic indicators specified by the Audit Commission to be analysed by Local authorities in developing their local economic development programmes. It compared these indicators with regional and national data to assess how Waveney compared, and examined the implications of these findings.

RECOMMENDED

1. That the finding of the report be utilised in developing the Councils economic development programme over the coming year.

2. That the reports findings be conveyed to the Suffolk Development Agency Waveney Taskforce for their consideration/action.
