V27-1386 : EQUALITY OF OPPORTUNITY IN EMPLOYMENT - RECRUITMENT MONITORING
The report of the Director of Central Services provided the annual report on recruitment monitoring, as required by the Council's Policy on Equality of Opportunity in Employment. The report monitored the composition of job applicants, interviewees and those appointed for posts advertised externally by the Personnel Section in 1999, categorised within the four specific areas of the Policy - age, gender, ethnic origin and disablement. RECOMMENDED
That the findings of the 1999 recruitment monitoring survey be noted, and a further report on the subject be made to the Sub-Committee in 12 months' time.
