V27-1354 : CONTRACTS (RIGHTS OF THIRD PARTIES) ACT 1999
The report of the Chief Executive informed the Committee that the above Act came into force on 11 November 1999, introducing some fundamental changes into the law of contract. This would mainly effect on Section 106 Agreements, the contract between the Council and the developers concerned.
RESOLVED
That the Chief Executive be given delegated authority to make appropriate provision in respect of the Contract (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 in Section 106 Agreements.
