V27-1350 : UNAUTHORISED RADIO AERIAL, 26 BEECHWOOD GARDENS, LOWESTOFT

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control informed members that it had been reported to the Council that the owner of 28 Beechwood Gardens had erected a radio aerial to an outbuilding at the rear of the property. The complainant has also raised concern with regard to the aerial causing interference with television reception.

The Director considered that the aerial was not visually intrusive and normally planning approval would be recommended. The issue of the aerial adversely affecting television reception was not a matter that could be considered under the planning regulations. Members asked that the Director advise the objector who therefore to contact on the matter.

RESOLVED

That no further action be taken with regard to an unauthorised aerial located at 28 Beechwood Gardens, Lowestoft.
