Application W6601/4 to reconstruct garage, garden wall and railings, and W6601/5 Listed Building Consent for reconstruction.

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control welcomed the reconstruction of the curtilage to this property, but he felt that in the context of policy ENV23 of the adopted Local Plan, the positioning of the garage needed to be more appropriate in view of the property being a Grade II Listed Building.

RESOLVED

That applications W6601/4 and 5 be refused, and the Director of Planning and Building Control be given delegated authority to approve an amended application subject to the re-siting of the proposed garage.
