V27-1346 : W5346/6 - LAND ADJACENT TO KESTREL HOUSE, PARADISE ROW, WESTON

Application for the variation of Condition No. 3 of consent W5346/5 to increase the number and nature of vehicles from four to six .

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control detailed that the application would conflict with policies V8, E2, E4, E5, E7 and E9 of the adopted Local Plan, and effect on the landscape, open countryside, residential amenity, road safety and bridleway use. He therefore recommended refusal. A letter of objection and a site visit were reported.

Members were divided in their opinions in view of the employment implications, as the Economic Development Unit had been unable to suggest an alternative, viable site.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be refused to application W5346/6.
