This item was included on the agenda for initial views of members, pending full decision at a future meeting of the Committee. The Director of Planning and Building Control drew attention to paragraph 2.5 of the report in relation to this. In addition, the County Council were awaiting the results of Anglian Water's study on the effects on the Kirkley Stream flood plain.

Individual members' comments were noted by the Director and would be fed into the consultation process. Members were concerned that the Development Control Committee had not had an official site visit. The Director would arrange this for the next available date.

RESOLVED

That the report on the South Lowestoft Relief Road be received and a Site Visit organised for the immediate future.
