V27-1339 : W11123/32 - LAND AT BLOODMOOR HILL, CARLTON COLVILLE

Approval of reserved matters and details, consent W11123/27, erection of 46 houses with garages and associated works.

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control detailed the site history and concluded that the scheme complied with the spirit of the South Bloodmoor Development brief and was therefore acceptable.

Members, whilst recognising that the overall development presented a mix of dwellings, were disappointed that this phase was to be just larger detached houses. Concern was also expressed that again the surface water from the development would eventually end up in Kirkley stream. The Director was asked to write to Anglian Water and the Environment Agency again to inform them of members fears of overload.

RESOLVED

That the reserved matters and details of consent W11123/27 be approved, subject to the imposition of appropriate conditions, including the provision of the roadway link to the western boundary, to facilitate construction traffic to the adjoining development site.
