V27-1334 : W17462 - THE OLD STABLES, SPINNEY CLOSE, NORTH COVE

Application for the conversion of an existing building to residential use.

The report of the Director of Planning and Building Control concerned an application to convert a garage and lean-to shelter to living accommodation.

The plot did not allow for development of a standard compatible with the existing surrounding village development and was therefore incompatible with policies H10 and H11 of the adopted Local Plan. In addition, the building, if approved, would become the only property facing onto the south side of Spinney Close. The Director recommended refusal.

RESOLVED

That planning permission be refused to application W17462.
